在深夜錄製的對話, 是關於人與人、人與自然的關係。特別是我們耳熟能詳的字背後, 其真實的意義時常與我們的理解有落差。
以"王"這個字來說, 一直以來, 我以為它是如孔子所說的, 一貫三為王。董仲舒解釋說：「三者，天、地、人也；而參通之者，王也。」
然而, 後人對此金文和甲體文上, 出現的一圓弧一直有爭議. 直到王國維學生吳其昌自《儀禮．覲禮》找出第一重證據：「天子設斧依于戶牅之間。」這個斧依在《周禮》叫做黼依，周禮曰：「凡大朝覲、大饗射，凡封國、命諸侯，王位設黼依。」

氣，最早見於商代甲骨文，古字形模擬雲氣的樣子，象形字，本義是「雲氣」，引申表示「空氣、氣息、氣體」。氣，也是一個形聲字，以「氣」表聲，以「米」表意，本義是「饋贈的糧食」，是「餼」的本字。《說文》：「氣，饋客芻米也。從米氣聲。《春秋傳》曰：『齊人來氣諸矦。』䊠，氣或從旣。餼，氣或從食。」
