Lissen, man… I don’t know ‘bout you, but I laughed so hard when I heard this improvised comedy series based on some of the crazy stuff Elvis did, and what his Memphis Mafia cleaned up, I saw sparkly stuff flyin’ around. Come for the love of Elvis, stay for the mayhem that erupts, because Nobody Disrespects The King. Plus, the music is terrific.
If you asked me who the greatest performer of all time is... Elvis wouldn't crack my top ten, BUT if you asked me about the funniest Elvis inspired comedy podcasts I would voted "Elvis, and" a hundred times over. I realize that voting more than once might disqualify my original vote, so I guess I'm only voting once, but in my heart I hope that vote counts ninety-nine more times!
What a great show! Using creative minds to improv based on stories from The King's life and times. Entertaining and original. More folks should put this kind of quality and effort into their podcasts.
WARNING: Do not listen to this podcast while drinking fluids or with a full bladder. Your laughter may undo you. Just when you thought nothing more could be said about The King, here comes Elvis, And. Skilled comedy improvisers use stories from Elvis Presley's biography as a jumping-off point to explore the bizarre possibilities of what went on behind the gold-rimmed shades and the gates of Graceland. When their entire world revolves around the whims and rules of a drug-fueled, velvet-voiced bu... more
Don't be a victim of Sammy's wrath...listen to this show!!!
I need to be honest. All too often, improv comedy isn't funny to anyone but the performers. You get some actor-pals who like to riff with each other, and because they crack each other up they assume everyone else thinks it's funny too.... but it's not.
But these guys! These guys are FUNNY. Yes, they're funny to each other, but they're freakin' funny to the random listener (like me!) who has absolutely no skin in the game. I have to make sure I'm not drinking anything while I'm listening, be... more
pretty funny improve podcast! turns out everything in it is true! i won my local quizzo because of it!
Although this hilarious podcast puts The King in some pretty outrageous situations (mostly based on the stories of his old runnin' crew) the cast pulls it off with respect. You can tell that although they are lampooning the excess, they still love E. Hail to The King, baby! Download this podcast today!
Matt Casarino, you are a GOD! Thanks, pal!
