  • Great content, too many ads

Loris episodes can be really interesting, inspiring and helpful. I honoring love the content. But my god the ads are too much! I just listened to one of the shorter 20min episodes and literally half of it was ads, and I even heard the same ads twice a few times. I’m more than happy to listen to occasional ads, I understand it is how podcasts make money. But there are too many associated with this show. Really disrupts from the flow of the episode and makes it hard to follow.

  • WAY too many ads

I generally really enjoy the content of this podcast when I can actually get to it. It’s 70% ads, 30% content at best. I spend most of my time and attention fast forwarding to hear anything of value. I should have to skip to minute 5 to get past the ads and then again 3 other times in a 30 minute podcast.

  • Actually good content but waaayyy too many ads!

18min episode probably had 8-10mins of ads! Really takes me out of it, and honestly makes me reluctant to listen to any more episodes - there’s got to be another way?!

Q: What is the core strategy that built Forbes features and a full client roster?
The strategy centers on clarity around pillars, a brand kit, and a week-by-week plan using templates and carousels, with a focus on both growth and sales and the discipline to test and adapt.

Q: What was your life like before you figured this out?

Starting Over After 22 Years Changed Everything with Ann Chikahisa
Q: Can you explain what a talisman is and why you started making them?
A talisman is a meaning-driven piece of jewelry carried to hold intention—like hope, strength, or resilience. I turned ancient ideas into modern pieces that embody those words, so wearers have a daily reminder and energy to carry with them.

Q: What does sustainable success look like for you now?
Sustainable success comes from a leadership team, a culture built on clear values, and a business that can operate with leadership embedded, allowing the founder to step back and focus on guiding rather than doing everything.

Q: So how did you get the North Star together? Did you do it by yourself? Did you do it as a team?
We built it as a team with a leadership compass. The team sat down, drafted core values together, and then defined what good looks like for each value across departments, creating a shared framework and accountability.
