  • Beautifully Human and Honest

This podcast is everything I’ve always admired about Kris. He is honest, reflective, unfiltered, and full of grace. He has a rare ability to turn even the most difficult truths into something profoundly human and beautiful. Listening to him “die out loud” is a masterclass in how to truly live.

I’m endlessly proud to know him and grateful that others now get to learn from his voice, his story, and his heart.

  • A Podcast That Truly Speaks to the Heart

I could not be more proud of the host of Dying Out Loud, my husband, Kris. What he’s created is so much more than a podcast. It’s a living legacy of love, gratitude, and connection. Every episode is raw, unfiltered, and deeply human. It reminds us not to wait to say the important things, but to speak them today, with love and kindness.

  • This is Me!

I created this podcast because I felt like my time was running out. I’d written exactly 74 letters to my friends, family, and colleagues and was planning to have my husband distribute them after I passed. Something in me shifted this summer - I thought to myself, why wouldn’t I share these letters now and be here for the reaction?!? My husband convinced that a podcast might be a great way to share these messages and maybe influence others to share their messages today. And here we are!!

Leadership, Friendship, and the Letters that Cant Wait with Tracy Kreikemeier
Q: How did you balance a demanding career with maintaining a rich personal life and friendships?

Mandi Botic: Two Decades, One Wild Ride, and a Christmas Reunion
Q: What advice would you share with somebody who wants to know how to keep a friendship alive?
Be invested and engaged, understand that involvement ebbs and flows with busy lives, and prioritize regular check-ins and shared ground; both parties must be willing to meet in the middle and make the effort to stay connected, whether through a brief hello or planning real-life meetups.
Rewind: The Art of Showing Up (Our #1 Episode of 2025)
Q: What would you offer to anybody listening in terms of what step they can take today to really show up for someone they care about, regardless of whether that person has cancer or is facing another challenge?
Pick up the phone or send a message to someone you've lost touch with, express genuine care, and propose a simple reconnection—whether a quick check-in or a plan to reconnect—so there is no room for regret about missed opportunities.
Rewind: The Art of Showing Up (Our #1 Episode of 2025)
Q: If you could encourage anybody listening or watching on YouTube to take one step today to show up for someone they care about, what would you recommend they do?
Start with a direct, personal reach-out—text, call, or video message—to tell them you love them, miss them, and want to reconnect, because there might not be a tomorrow and taking that small step can rekindle meaningful connection.
