I have been listening to this amazing podcast for 6 years on and off. You have some of the best quality information and are better than Dragon Talk (RIP). I realize that I have no place asking anything of you generous people, but I would love two things: to have this review read on the air and to have you make one of the following episodes (even as a 5-10 minute section):
Mind Flayer based adventure/encounter ideas
Adapting books, TV, and movies
Writing a D&D book for publish
Or What D&D play... more
I freaking love this podcast, and not just because I'm a friend of the show 😆. Celeste, Neal, and Derrick are excellent hosts who are as nerdy and "oh this is cool"as the rest of us.
This show is an epic boon to anybody considering running any TTRPG. I started listening back in November 23 (from the beginning) and have been hooked on every episode.
This show is the catalyst that made me realise that I COULD run a game for my friends and I am now 12 months into a fun campaign which our long suffering forever DM now gets to play in.
The only trouble I have is selecting which elements of the countless great ideas to use in my games.

Excellent podcast with tons of great inspiration and tips. I found it helpful to listen to many of the episodes multiple times to get everything out of them. Highly recommend.
I was looking for a podcast that wasn’t just a bunch of play through of their sessions/campaigns- or some sort of debrief of past sessions. I wanted to hear from other DMs having conversations about aspects of various TTRPGS and this is EXACTLY what I wanted.
Super informative, super cool ideas being shared and very fun to hear some of the same thoughts I’ve had as a DM outlaid between experienced GMs

A practical, DM-focused show offering tips, frameworks, and inspiration for running tabletop RPGs, especially D&D. Episodes emphasize world-building, encounter design, and navigating system rules, with a mix of deep dives into mechanics, creative storytelling prompts, and real-person experiences at the table. Listeners get actionable takeaways on running sessions smoothly, handling tricky player decisions, and leveraging guest insights to level up their own campaigns. A standout is the consistent emphasis on making game sessions fun for players and DMs alike, plus the hosts' approachable banter and willingness to explore both core rules and homebrew ideas.
