The Major Spoilers podcast provides great high level reviews of comics. This podcast allows Stephen and Matthew to go in depth with one current comic each week. The production value is phenomenal and the release schedule is great as well. I understand that this podcast may not be for everyone, but I love listening to these guys. If you're into comics and want shows that are well produced and just generally fun, listen to all of the podcasts coming out from Major Spoilers, you won't be disapp... more
Matthew and Stephen know a lot about comics, so it is always interesting to see what they have to say. They tend to agree far more than they expect, so there's not much arguing between the two of them, but the podcast is always fun to listen even if they completely agree!
Can't get into it. Really tried. Great production values though. They seem to not follow any series that they review and are too quick to crap on stuff they seem to know nothing about. And for goodness sakes, bad mouthing marvel and DC does not make you sound cool. It makes you sound mostly uninformed and stupid. We get it. You're jaded. Boring and off putting.
I recognize Steven from Comic Dorks and enjoy his take on comics, unfortunately the co-host is a bit overbearing and talks over him too much.
There are honestly many things I have come to dislike about the "Major Spiolers experance" But Matthew and Steven talking about comic books I could take more of. Its nice simple 40 minute podcast each week focusing on a new issue out that week. more
