那時，就是前一章説到「到末了，南方王要與他交戰。北方王必用戰車、馬兵，和許多戰船，勢如暴風來攻擊他，也必進入列國，如洪水氾濫。又必進入那榮美之地，有許多國就被傾覆……他必在海和榮美的聖山中間設立他如宮殿的帳幕」的時候。

「然而到了他的結局，必無人能幫助他。」的時候

雖然以色列要面對立國以來從沒有過的大災難，神的選民會經歷空前的大艱難，但 神卻派天使長米加勒站起來，保佑本國之民，這是何等的安慰！

到了“定期”，事就了結！
是今天這段經文中反覆出現的話。
經文中的異象也不斷向我傳達一個信息：邦國有興衰，戰爭有輸贏，
然而，這都是“暫時”的！
“暫時”和“定期”對我的意義是什麼？
神的子民當如何看待地上的王“暫時”違背聖約，心懷惡計，任意而行，卻行事亨通…
不要忘了，這段經文也反覆告訴我們另一個事實，一切的“暫時”都會被“卻”這個字翻轉：
“卻”不得常勝，"卻"要敗亡；（但11:12,14）

神的使者來到但以理這里，對他說：大蒙眷愛的但以理啊，不要懼怕！
但以理為何多次被告知他是大蒙眷愛的？
經文告訴我們，因為他專心求明白將來的事，又在神的面前刻苦己心。
想到但以理曾經為專心求明白將來的事，不用王的膳，不飲王的酒，分別自己不被世俗玷污。
也記得但以理曾經為堅持和素常一樣，一日三次，跪在神前，禱告感謝，而被下令丟在獅子坑中。
直到這次，但以理專心向 神求的言語已蒙應允； 神的使者也是因他的言語而來。

我的神啊，求你側耳而聽，睜眼而看，眷顧我們荒涼之地和稱為你名下的城。
我們在你面前懇求，原不是因自己的義，乃因你的大憐憫。(但9:18)
但以理真是摸到 神的心腸啊！
他認識 神的憐憫不是普通的憐憫，是大憐憫；因為他知道他的同胞得罪 神，大大的得罪了 神。
但以理不只深深認識 神公義又憐憫的性情，身處犯罪作孽，偏離 神誡命，遠離神慈愛的悖逆同胞中，他，沒有置身事外，而是把自己和得罪 神的百姓連在一起，為自己，為本國之民深深的憂傷痛悔，來... more

他的權柄必大，卻非因自己的能力！
他至終被滅亡，卻非因人手而滅亡！
但以理書第八章這兩處經文再次奌出了是誰賜給人權柄，又是誰收回了行毀壞之人的權柄。
是誰給了君王能力，又是誰的手最終將邪惡自大的君王滅亡。
神賜下異象，也使願意明白的但以理明白這異象，為要透過異象警告 神的聖民，末世的亂象之後會有幾件 “必有” 的事發生，既然是必有的，躲不掉的，我們當如何面對？

但以理書的前六章讓我看到至高的 神如何在人的國中掌權，憑自己的意旨立人治國，大到邦國興衰，小到個人的呼吸氣息，都在祂權能的掌管底下，按著祂善良，純全，可喜悅的旨意發生。
從第七章開始，但以理書的後半段，期待將看到天上的 神也要親自啟示但以理未來地上要發生的事。
天上的 神不止賜給地上的君王異夢，讓裏頭有聖神的靈，有美好靈性的但以理為他們解夢，並藉著這些夢的應驗讓這些驕傲的君王降卑俯伏，同時藉此讓全天下的人認識地上的王權都會過去，只有 神是永... more

今天讀的經文最震撼我的，是一個連接詞：“就”
但以理知道這禁令蓋了玉璽，“就” 到自己家裏（他樓上的窗戶開向耶路撒冷），一日三次，雙膝跪在他神面前，禱告感謝，與素常一樣。

與素常一樣！
但以理知道了自己可能因為堅持信仰，再也看不到明天的太陽升起，但以理 “就” --與素常一樣！
一樣的開窗面向耶路撒冷，一樣的雙膝跪在 神面前，一樣的感謝禱告。
這是多麼令我羨慕的生命--
與素常一樣的生命！

一代舊王過去，一代新王又興起，然而，悲劇卻不能避免的再次重演，歷史，好像永遠不能讓人真正吸取教訓。
想到這里，生命讀經的我，能不能從神的話語中敘事文的反面人物返照自己，吸取教訓呢？
伯沙撒王的驕傲狂妄卻比他的父親尼布甲尼撒王有過之而無不及。
他設宴與大臣歡飲之間，竟然想起一個羞辱猶大國，甚至挑戰耶和華 神的方式來顯耀自己，他吩咐人把從耶路撒冷聖殿掠奪來的金銀器皿拿來，就讓妃嬪大臣用這器皿飲酒。
