This podcast doesn’t evoke the scenes of the country. I’ve listened to 6 episodes and they were all little more than long advertisements. I also find the host’s voice to be annoying and whiny.
There is definitely a love for Italy in the content of this podcast but it is tainted by the underlying capitalism and marketing behind most of the conversations. By the fourth episode it felt like a series of commercials for hotels and tour companies, making me doubt the authenticity of the content.
Much like the TV show, I can’t wait for the next episode of the Podcast!
