I asked for one of the books that she recommended for Christmas! She makes it so tempting to grab a copy of the book and read it!
Even though I am way over the age recommended by Allegra, I found the review in episode1 to be much in depth, with good background introductions, yet left enough intrigue for the listener to want to learn more.
Allegra’s reading in episode 2 lent such color to the siblings’ personalities- that I could almost visualize them! And Egyptian, instead of the Indian in background culture of Episode1, no less!
Episode 3, on Book 5 from the Harry Potter series was indeed a teaser. Especially for someon... more
Allegra’s enthusiasm for the book makes me want to read it. I loved listening to her read the selected sections from the book.
