Loving the House of the Dragon content! But be warned, they drop book- and trailer-based spoilers here and there without thinking. They do try to avoid big spoilers, but don’t seem to be aware of some that slip through, such as about which characters will have big roles in future, and which will be alive in future. So: wait until the show is over, then enjoy!
Please invest in some decent microphones! At least two of you have terrible ones and your voices sound tinny and distant.
I have been looking for a good podcast about HOTD to listen to during work and after going thru a lot of different ones, nothing captured my attention and HEART as much as this one! I love that they give a full review of the episode and then also have a full breakdown comparison from the book!! I have not read the books and so it’s such a pleasure to listen to spoilers and a discussion of the book vs the show but also the episodes review from a woman’s standpoint. Some of the podcasts that are e... more
Rima, Kristin, Wendy and Archmaester Renny do a great job of pointing out the most interesting parts of each episode revealing details or interpretations I missed. And the book section at the end is fantastic.
I think this is the best House of the Dragon podcast in the entire world, likely the entire universe. Kristin and Rima are both incredibly well informed about this world, the books and Game of Thrones as a whole and they bring this in depth knowledge to their analysis of House of the Dragon.
Kristin and Rima, along with their guests hosts, are very careful not to cause any spoilers and they are very clear about when to skip a section of the podcast when they are about to talk spoilery content d... more

A lively, analysis-driven show that covers House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms with a focus on character motivations, lore connections, and narrative implications. The trio of Archmaester Rennie, Veronica, and Wendy guide deep dives into episode-by-episode breakdowns, book tie-ins, and spoiler-aware discussions, often weaving in broader Song of Ice and Fire lore and cross-show comparisons. A standout for fans who crave thorough, opinionated discourse delivered with warmth and humor, and for sponsors seeking a show with loyal, highly engaged fantasy listeners.
The format blends show-recap discussions, book-canon context, and host banter, making it a go-to resource for understanding complex plotlines, lineage dynamics, and... more
