Building Real Apps with AI: Micro Tools, SEO Utilities | DS613
Q: What advice do you have for beginners wanting to start building with AI tools?
Start simple and experiment with tools like Lovable or Anti-Gravity. Don't fear coding; even basic PHP-based setups can work well for prototypes. The key is to get something out there, validate it with real users, and iterate rapidly, documenting pricing and capabilities for future AI-driven services.
Building Real Apps with AI: Micro Tools, SEO Utilities | DS613
Q: What is On Your Mark and how did AI help build it?
On Your Mark is a real-life game guided by phones via a web link. I fed the concept to AI, which helped outline the flow and the joining process, allowing players to participate without downloading an app. AI also helped adjust the process so a single link could onboard everyone and manage the game state.
Building Real Apps with AI: Micro Tools, SEO Utilities | DS613
Q: Can you describe one project you built quickly that solved a real need?
We created a coverage map for a client using AI. It started as a difficult solution in Google Maps, but AI helped us generate it quickly. Within 15-20 minutes we had a working map, and we later generalized the idea into a reusable tool (serviceareamaps.com) with a leaderboard showing traffic.
Touring Musician to YouTube Success: "Kyle Orla" Strategy | DS608
Q: How did Kyle transition from touring to building a teaching and online presence?
He shifted during the pandemic, leveraging prior guitar repair skills and a grant-funded start to create online content, which gradually grew into a sustainable business with teaching, repair, and Patreon support.
Make $1000/month ASAP | DS590
Q: How did you choose your niche and proceed with keyword research?
He discusses the importance of using both Etsy's search bar and professional tools like E-Rank to identify low-competition, high-search-volume products.
