I have been desperately looking for insightful information since adopting a very challenging rescue 6 weeks ago. This podcast fits the bill! I love the in-depth treatment of topics as well as the HUGE respect for dogs the hosts and guests obviously have. My girl and I are working with trainer; we’re making progress and the information and perspective I am getting from the podcast is helping me better understand and modify the training to what’s best for us. They did everything wrong before they learned so many helpful tips, techniques, and informative info about training, health and nutrition, and building a better relationship with us! I love this podcast because it emphasizes how to build a good relationship with your dog instead of mindless obedience, tricks and skills. Communication on a deeper level with your dog is what creates good behavior and boundaries. I don’t do everything they recommend for example, I do use a slip lead.
