Dave I’m glad you feel better but you’re still off your game. You’re making a fool of yourself with your negativity and inane comments. You have got to buck up!

  • Sick House

David it’s tough you were sick but you made some stupid comments which make me wonder whether you’re really watching the game or napping due to illness. I’ll take a break and try you in two weeks to see if you’ve pulled your head out.

  • Great inside info!

Love the info on this podcast. However DV can be such a condescending jerk to callers. Tim Cates is a much better host. Dial the ego back a touch DV and this podcast will go from good to great!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Sax and Cates In The AM (Hour 3) 10/8/25
Q: What do you think their expectations are for Aaron Nola?
If you look at what he did in last year's NLDS, he gave up four runs to the Mets in five innings. So, it's not like he has done great in this type of setting in recent history.
Sax and Cates In The AM (Hour 3) 10/8/25
Q: Would Kirk Gibson have called in the day before game one of the NLDS?
No chance, brother. No chance.
Sax and Cates In The AM (Hour 1) 10/9/25
Q: Why do you think Shohei struggled at the plate so much this series?
Dave Roberts believes it's partly because of the number of lefties he's seen and that his plate decision-making hasn't been good.
Dodger Talk (10-7-25)
Q: What was your vantage point on the wheel play in the ninth inning?
The wheel play is typically with the runners on first and second...For him to do that, get the infield in order, months to execute it, him to get the tag down—it was the play of the game.
Dodger Talk (10-7-25)
Q: How much does it mean to you to be available whenever the team needs you?
It's been fun to be down there with the guys. It's a different animal down there, man. When that phone rings, you feel that adrenaline start flowing.
