Named a "Best New Podcast" in 2024 by Audible and Vulture. "This is no simple sports-recap podcast. Instead, each episode plays a bit like a dispatch from a foreign land — in this case Dodgers fandom — in which a local correspondent (that would be Parks) walks you through present concerns." (Vulture) Noted for its storytelling, sound design, and original music. A love letter to baseball and radio ... more

2024 season was one the best podcasts ever. But since then the ads are sooo long!! Ruins it for me. Then they did an episode about the WBC, but didn’t have even an average fans knowledge of it. Very disappointing.
After not watching baseball for years, this podcast made me fall in love with it again.
Imagine paying the best play player in baseball or a bag of potato chips, leaving room for you to overspend and defer money left and right!.
Imagine your best player being caught in a gambling scandal, and having it swept under the rug and pinned on his interpreter
Meanwhile Clase from the Cincinnati Reds is never going to play again.
My dad and I now casually talk baseball, thanks Richard
Not a fan of baseball. Never listened to anyone talk about baseball for more than for more minutes. I am a native Californian and the only baseball games I’ve seen have been in other states. You sir are making me care about the Dodgers. I hope to watch and attend a game next season. Don’t know why I care now but I do. Time to get my Dodgers blue hat.

Dodger Blue Dream blends narrative storytelling with deep dives into Dodgers lore, on-field play, and the culture surrounding the team. Episodes often weave season-long arcs, player profiles, and behind-the-scenes context with evocative sound design and original music, creating a documentary-like experience for baseball fans and curious newcomers alike. The show frequently covers season pivots (World Series runs, spring training dynamics), notable人物 stories, and local Los Angeles culture tied to baseball, making it feel less like a stats-heavy recap and more like an immersive fan chronicle. A standout quality is the host's storytelling craft—balancing personal anecdotes, historical color, and athletic drama in a way that appeals to devoted ... more
