  • Ram Centered, detailed and in the know

The pod does an awesome job of gathering, analyzing, and explaining what is going on with CSU’s largest programs. Not a ton of coverage of Olympic sports, but some, however the main focus is on basketball and football, given their popularity in the current college environment.

The DNVR Rams team delivers excellent content, and is down to Earth. Appreciate having experts talk the teams I love, and excited to see how the show continues to grow! Go Rams!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Why Jim Mora & Co. must revive CSU’s rushing attack + celebrating Leon Fuller with Marty Lenz
Q: What are the primary reasons CSU should lean back into a ground-game identity?
The host argues that a balanced, multiple-back approach can stabilize the offense, preserve quarterback development, and create rhythm on early downs to avoid second/third-and-long situations, with historical context showing that teams with a strong rushing attack tend to win more consistently.
CSU Football 2027 class is coming together + QB Marquise Reese on why he picked the Rams
Q: Who's the greatest quarterback of all time?
Statistically Tom Brady, but my personal GOAT is Patrick Mahomes, and I'm a Chiefs fan, which I've followed since he was drafted.
CFP expansion talk + building the Mountain West all-time starting five with Tyler King
Q: What are your early impressions of the CSU program under Jim Mora?
The program feels different and more work-oriented than the prior regime, with a focus on bringing in transfer portal talent and a pathway to bowl eligibility in year one.
5 CSU players making the most of spring ball, what Jim Mora said, & Roddy’s run with the Nuggets
Q: What stood out to you about this little run from Roddy?
Brendan Vogt responded that Roddy showed elite basketball instincts, two-way versatility, and the ability to impact games in clutch moments, suggesting his development could translate to sustained NBA contributions and potentially a more permanent role if the right situation arises.
CSU Football Spring Practice Update + What Hauss Hejny Said & More | DNVR CSU Rams Podcast
Q: What drew Hauss Hejny to CSU and what does he want the offense to look like in 2026?
Hejny cited CSU's resources, coaching quality, and alignment with coach Mora's program philosophy as key attractions, and described wanting a balanced offense with a productive run game and explosive plays.
