Funny, brutally honest, and packed with tasty expertise! « It’s like a musical safari led by two hilarious experts who’ve been arguing about records for 30 years ».
DIscograffiti, the host David, really, is the best deep-dive analysis and interview music show out there! His enthusiasm and passion for getting the story behind the classic albums and bands we love yields some incredible history. In listening to his vast output I have been able to hear perspectives I would have never been able to otherwise. His deep dives on the Beach Boys makes this an absolute must for anyone interested in the incredible work. He has managed to hunt down and get interviews wi... more
I am a subscriber and having difficulty finding some previous interviews, especially the ones with the Association's great late Terry Kirkman and Jules Alexander from 2023. This is certainly not a user-friendly podcast!
I’m all for supporting a full time creative but the intro and outro self promotion has turned me off this podcast (and many others that I know). I genuinely don’t wish any ill will to Dave. I hope you realize you don’t need to grind the ads for so long and so often. And it’s the same script every single week. It may be turning more people away who would actually support a patreon to hear extra tidbits. On top of that, not everyone can afford to support your endeavors but may just want to... more
Dave Gebroe is one of the most insightful, passionate and smartest interviewers I’ve heard. he thinks way outside the box comes at his subjects from unexpected angles. I listen to a lot of podcasts. Discograffiti informs and entertains me with shows on artists I love and introduces me and piques my interest in those that are new to me. bravo!

Two to four times weekly, this show delivers exhaustive explorations of artists' full discographies, blending deep historical context with candid critique of late-era releases and box-set material.
