I love hearing about different issues through a disability perspective that is very fact based.
I am so glad that Alice Wong is raising a strong voice! I am involved in independent living discourse in Europe and there is so much to learn for me from this podcast. Invaluable. Thank you!
As an anti-ableist researcher and teacher this podcast has educated me so much and challenged my own assumptions while also validating my own experience as a person who falls somewhere along the neurodiversity spectrum. Many thanks for showcasing so many folks who’s contributions are critical to disability justice and who I probably would have never heard of without this podcast.
Grace Lee’s podcast is incisive, urgent, and accessible. It reflects on the past to talk about the future we are making together. It feels like a gift to everyone that have had their lives touched by public broadcasting. It asks what it means to make media that is really for the public.
This podcast has opened my eyes to so many everyday issues that are faced by people. Anyone who works in policy, politics, design, city planning and beyond needs to listen to this podcast. Thank you for your work in bringing awareness to the general public. I will continue to spread the word and include what I have learned here in my work.
