As a childfree person living in the Midwest, I don’t know any childfree people in my “real life.” But this podcast has done wonders to help me realize I’m not alone, while providing meaningful insights and plenty of laughs along the way. The hosts are funny, engaging, and feel like friends. Their guests are smart and insightful. Plus they help me justify all my purchases with their rallying cry to “DINK yourself!” Thank you for fostering community and belonging for me and so many others, I’m a l... more
Listening to the pod is like eavesdropping on two of your coolest (and obviously CF) friends. It makes me feel validated, supported, and confident in my decision to be CF — thank you!!!
I found this podcast because I started following childfree and dinky content on instagram and liked their content. A few months ago they made a meme series calling out people who followed but didn’t listen to the podcast. Feeling called out, I started at episode one and was hooked. Easily binged all their content within days. These girls are hilarious and rant about things that I agree with and are so well researched in topics I haven’t even thought about. I am childfree by choice and my husband... more
I’m so grateful to have found this podcast during my journey toward deciding not to have children. That journey was obviously emotional and heavy at times and this podcast added some joy and levity! I look forward to every episode!
I’ve listened to Dinky for over a week now, and there is so many different things that I didn’t know I needed to know about being child free. And it just further confirms that this is the right choice for me. Specially going through my 20’s and now my 30’s always having being questioned about my values and morals for choosing to be in the minority. I think there is alot to learn from these two about being child free - Specially when being a woman is already seen as a minority in itself.
