  • Well produced and fun podcast!

Anthony has a clear passion for Superman and his world and covers everything Superman related in great detail! His chemistry with every guest is readily apparent and leads to an informative but still relaxed enough feel that’ll have you feeling like you’re hanging out with friends as they chat Superman! Was fortunate enough to have him on my show and he’s just as fun to talk to in person as he is to listen to!

  • continuity nerd?

I’m glad someone loves Superman lore as much as Anthony. He made me laugh in a recent episode. He said he didn’t want to be a “continuity nerd.” Yet in the entire episode, he complained about changes John Byrne made to Superman continuity in 1986, nearly 40 years ago. And in the same breath, he talked nostalgically about “the triangle era,” which started in the late 1990s and ended in 2001 (24 years ago). Someone needs to warn Anthony before the next time he looks in a mirror because when he do... more

  • Fantastic Show!

I discovered this show about a year ago and have been tearing through episodes. What a fun, loving, but honest dive into the Superman books so many of us grew up on. Truly a wonderful listen.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Supergirl by SOPHIE CAMPBELL (Free Comic Book Day BONUS!)
Q: What has your experience been with the series since it launched in 2025?
Josh shares that starting from the beginning has been enjoyable, with the series offering a balanced, non-tragic tone that still delves into meaningful, sometimes darker themes, and that the continuity approach enriches the reading experience rather than complicating it for newcomers.
Lex Luthor's FAMILY TREE Across Time & Media
Q: How far do you like to see Lex's family tree extended? How many relatives do you want floating around in his orbit?
Tyler argues Lex should remain tightly contained; a smaller, purposeful family tree helps illuminate Lex's character without muddying the narrative, and through-lines like Lena emphasize Lex's humanity and redemptive tension.
The Trials of SMALLVILLE Part 3 — The Ships (Plus! RED K CLARK)
Q: How critical was the romance of Smallville to your personal enjoyment of the show and the overall success and longevity of the series?
It fueled a lot of discussion, a lot of arguments, but it kept people invested in the show.
