  • The sidekick must go!

The sidekick is ignorant, disruptive, and annoying! If Rachel needs a supportive companion please pair up with a better informed person that can ask interesting questions or add contextual content.

  • Could be better

Rachel is doing a good job. She has a good voice and speed and has done some good writing on these historical women.

Kat needs to go. I’m not sure why she is there. She drags the podcast down to a grade school level. Her interjections are childish, foul and distracting. I see that this is a common criticism of this podcast. I don’t think I will follow it but there is some women she is going to talk about that I am interested in.

This could be a good informative serious history podcast but ri... more

  • Absolutely ADORE this podcast

I want to start off and say that I am a HUGE history nut. I absolutely adore the podcast. Rachel and Kat are absolutely amazing hosts and they make me laugh on so many occasions. I love that they keep themselves and each other accountable and I find it very funny how many times they have done conversations that haven't been recording for various reasons. I love the cats and dogs that Kat has and I love the conversations that happen before they actually start to talk about the women in history fo... more

  • Grade School Level Podcast

The research is mediocre and read like a script, with Kat’s constant F bombs and inarticulate interjections, it become a tedious endeavor. That’s a shame because the subject matter is interesting and could be delivered in a more colorful and engaging manner. It is presented more like a grade school book report, read before a heckling classroom of imbeciles (Kat). Save yourself and read the Wikipedia page instead. Maybe they improve with time and experience, but I don’t have that kind of time... more

  • urghhh

i really liked rachel and find her research to be thorough, but kat's constant interjections with thoughtless and unfunny commentary makes for a hard listen. at least make more relevant and entertaining jokes if you're going to make them at all, it just comes across as anxious and juvenile.
