I looked forward to this show from when it was first announced. And for the most part, the show has lived up to expectations. Allison is a great speaker and podcaster. I listen to other shows she does.
Charlotte, however, sounds new to the mic. As someone who has produced my own local performances, I offer this tip: write a script for Charlotte. Compared to Allison, she is not holding her own.
Please take this, my loving intention. I affirm Charlotte will grow into it. 💜
So nice to take a break from political podcasts and hear things you point out that I missed, and to remember all the best parts. Regarding Alice in this episode, it seemed to me she wishes she got some attention (caring attention) as the team gives to Ted. She even said something like “no one asks me questions.” Just my observation! Thanks for putting this show together!
This is the podcast I’ve been looking for. Women discussing a show about women, and that show is Ted Lasso! No mansplaining.
What is the meaning of Diamond Dames and how does it relate to Ted Lasso? Did I miss the explanation?
Also, what’s with the howling? Are you riding Dire Wolves?
But I do enjoy the dishing, BTW.
Allison could publish 30mins of dead air and I would probably be one of the first subscribers.
But seriously, I love the joy Allison and Charlotte bring to this recap Pod. Can’t help but join in the giggles when they get going, and also like that they address some of the more pointed moments and themes in each show. I now look forward to this Pod just as much as I look forward to each new episode of the show. Thanks ladies.
Diamond Dames, mount up! 🗣️🗣️

Two political commentators co-host a weekly show that blends sharp pop culture analysis with political insight, focusing on current Ted Lasso episodes and broader themes around gender, sports, and media. The conversations mix humor, personal anecdotes, and candid takes on sponsorship, audience engagement, and cultural commentary, often tying episode events to real-world issues. A notable edge is the pairing of hosts who bring activist and media chops, creating frequent, energetic debates that feel kinesthetic and timely for listeners who enjoy thoughtful, timely takes on television and politics alike.
