I found this podcast too late for Ted Lasso (maybe I'll do a re-watch with this pod before season 4!), but I'm really loving listening after every episode of Shrinking! You two guys (and once a gal, who was really great!) add so much insight that I feel like I appreciate each episode even more after I listen to you. It's also just a funny and entertaining pod that gives me some good laughs every time too. Thanks for the work you do, it's much appreciated!
Jimmy is turning into Paul! That was my epiphany while I was listening to your podcast today. I cried throughout this episode because I think they’re getting us ready for Paul to “leave”, with Jimmy taking his place in this “family”.
Just writing this makes me want to cry all over again. I love these characters and the writing.
I, like many, am so excited for this new season of Shrinking. I was also very excited to listen to you both break down this first episode! You are both so thorough and also fun- love that you kept all the segments from the past seasons of the podcast from gifts of Gab to Liz rocks. I recommend this podcast to all my friends that enjoy both Shrinking and Ted Lasso. Keep up the great work- I look forward to it each week.
Enjoy the podcast but really surprised that there was no mention of the wildfires— especially since production for S3 took place in the aftermath of the Altadena fire. The characters on the show live in the area and would be impacted by the community — curious to see if and how that is addressed this season. Wonder if Gaby’s arc in this episode’s foreshadowing the fires… Look forward to staying tuned!
Really. I have started listening to it literally last week because I just had this massive hole to fill in without Ted Lasso on TV. Great job guys. So far I have finished your season 1 and season 2 rewatch and I enjoy your opinions and views of it a lot. And interviews of course.
