  • Disgrace

I am not for the war in Iran. However, we are in it now and I will always back My country. Ted saying he hopes Iran wins is completely a disgrace to your country. You don’t have to support the war you don’t have to like it. But to wish for them to win you’re a joke.

  • John is great!

John is awesome. Always polite, even when he disagrees. I could listen to him all day. He thanks people for even the smallest donation. He doesn’t over talk Ted. Ted, don’t like him so much. He’s the lefty that seems like he wants peace, but only the peace he thinks is ok. I tolerate Ted. John and his take on things is the reason I listen. Thanks John.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Let’s Talk, Scums! | DeProgram with Ted Rall and Jamarl Thomas
Q: What do you think about Hochul's luxury tax proposal for second homes in NYC?
It's framed as a budget tool but risks being regressive and limited in impact; the real issue is the underlying fiscal crisis and whether targeted, broader reforms would be more effective.
Pain-Off! | DeProgram with Ted Rall and Jamarl Thomas
Q: Phrasptaz, question for Ted and Robbie. Do you think Iran actually lost track of deployed mines? Lots of reasons to lie about it. Or is it an American lie perhaps?
The panel references New York Times reporting suggesting uncertain mine locations, acknowledging both the possibility of misperception and strategic ambiguity in statements from both sides.
Fake Gays in the UK | DeProgram with Ted Rall and Jamarl Thomas
Q: Professor Fleming, what are the main characteristics attributed to Baal in the Canaanite and broader Near Eastern context?
Baal is a title meaning Lord; he represents a storm/warrior deity associated with rain, drought, and warfare. It isn't a single, fixed god but a label used for related deities including a local storm god and the Babylonian head god. In Israelite and Jewish context, Baal becomes a rival deity figure who is later reframed as part of idolatry in monotheistic narratives.
TACO Tuesday 2.0 | DeProgram with Ted Rall and Jamarl Thomas
Q: What do you think about the feasibility of reopening the Strait of Hormuz by force?
They argue it is practically impossible to secure the Strait through conventional military means due to geography, Iranian capabilities, and the global energy market's dependence on stable shipping; a large invasion would be extraordinarily costly and unlikely to succeed.
Q&A | DeProgram with Ted Rall and John Kiriakou
Q: Did you ever consider leaving public life after whistleblowing?
John explains the decision to speak out despite personal risk, driven by concerns about accountability and the desire to protect others from similar harm, rather than fear of reprisal.
