First off, the main 1-star review here seems to be from someone upset at the BBC impression show, Dead Ringers. Which isn’t this.
What you have here is a group of people discussing some enjoyable horror movie double-bills, with obvious themes and less obvious connections examined.
Despite the spread of co-hosts, there seems to be a bias towards more recent fare in general conversation and they keep mentioning titles some haven’t seen that feel like strange horror movie knowledge gaps to have.

I work in basketball media and spend most of my time podding on the NBA. I got turned onto this podcast and whenever I’m taking a break from basketball, I’m catching up on horror with Dead Ringers. I wish it were weekly!
Absolutely one of my very favorite horror podcasts to listen to, and was very honored to have been a guest at one point. Everyone on this show is great, the double feature concept is fun, and the off-topic episodes are just as good!
One of my favorite horror podcasts! Nolan McBride and the rest of the cast of co-hosts are all great and their love of the genre comes through in every episode. They also do a great job of analyzing movies without it becoming pretentious.
Nolan and Dead Ringers crew do an awesome job breaking down movies, whether it be in their “double feature” format or one of their one-off deep dives. They all love movies and it shows and that’s really all that matters.
