  • Disappointing

I had high hopes but these were quickly dashed by the irresponsible way the Karen read trial was presented and commented on. I was completely impartial and watched the trial with an open mind. It’s a shame this guy didn’t do the same. No place in journalism for people that cannot be impartial and follow the evidence.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Guthrie Investigation: Critical Questions Four Weeks In
Q: Why is a month in and there's video of vehicles two and a half miles away that isn't being prioritized; could there be more than one person involved?
The discussion acknowledges the possibility of additional people being involved and questions the investigative strategy and timing, highlighting how a lack of early traction and the complexity of verifying alibis or movements can lead to extended public-led scrutiny.
Guthrie Investigation: Critical Questions Four Weeks In
Q: Is Nancy Guthrie still alive at four weeks with no ransom demand, no credible sighting, no contact, what does your gut tell you?
The host suggests there is significant doubt about Guthrie being alive at that point, noting the lack of credible contact or ransom demands and leaning toward the likelihood that something happened rather than a straightforward abduction for ransom.
Kouri Richins Trial Day 7: Brooke Karrington — The Financial Trail Takes Center Stage Part 1
Q: Did you analyze the bank accounts and the related financing to determine the structure of borrowings and debt in Kouri Richins' finances?
Yes. I started with the primary business and private accounts, traced through the HELOC, lines of credit, and payday loans, and connected them to rehab projects and property transactions to see how debt was serviced and how funds flowed across entities.
Kouri Richins Trial Day 7: Brooke Karrington — The Financial Trail Takes Center Stage Part 1
Q: What, ma'am, is your methodology or process for forensically examining someone's finances?
My process usually begins with the bank account statements to understand the landscape, determine the source of funds, and build a narrative about how money moved, what was typical, what was atypical, and how the timing of transactions aligns with events in the case.
Kouri Richins Trial Day 6: Chris Kotrodimos — Jury Reviews Richins’ Cell Phone Records Part 1
Q: Can the person performing the download change the contents of the phone during extraction?
No, the witness states that the 다운로드 process does not alter the contents of the phone or the data retrieved, and the integrity of the extraction is preserved.
