Woof. It feels like the host has a personal vendetta against Lindsay Clancy. This takes such a weird opinionated turn.

i’m three episodes in and already extremely disappointed. it’s poorly done, to begin with. clearly the host is reading, and it’s very hard to focus on her monotonous voice. it reminds me of a high school presentation.

and then the bias becomes evident. these episodes were released prior to the trial. as a “journalist”, wouldn’t you need the facts presented in trial before jumping into telling the story?

some people shouldn’t be podcasters.

I wanted to like this because it was very comprehensive and I learned a lot about the facts, but the misinformation about DSM diagnoses and how it relates to this person’s personality flaws goes beyond someone’s bias. It honestly can be dangerous. You can have your opinion but you can’t relate them to medical topics and mental health topics without a certain level of training and understanding that just breeds misinformation. It feels risky to label someone as narcissistic unless you have the credentials to actually back that up. Following the trial closely, what I see is a woman who has OCD, similar to me. I'm not an expert - I can only speak to how it works for me. The dangerous part of OCD is the constant questioning, the dark and intrusive thoughts, the drive to be perfect, and the compulsions that force you into rituals that feed right back into that perfectionism.

You have way too much bias and judgement going into this…I couldn’t stomach getting through episode three.

Couldn’t even finish one full episode. Terribly skewed. Horrible sound and format. If you have a day job, stick to that because this pod is garbage.

Lindsay Clancy’s case is, without a doubt, an incredibly polarizing one. Unfortunately, this podcast is highly opinionated and falls short in terms of objective, thorough journalism. If you’re looking for a podcast that presents the facts clearly and concisely, allowing listeners to form their own conclusions, this is not that podcast.

Very biased host who doesn’t have the proper credentials to make a diagnosis.

I was hoping for a neutral overview of the case, and this definitely wasn’t it.

Good podcast about a horrible event. The as placement is terrible though. The ads are inserted into the middle of the dialogue.

I thought the first episode was pretty good. Gave me false hope. But her “outline” of how Lindsay fits each criteria for narcissistic personality disorder was wild. It’s an understatement to say she stretched her flimsy theories to “match” the diagnostic criteria to breaking point. I’m not interested in hearing people’s theories with lack of evidence. I was hoping for podcast that gave a detailed overview of the facts to date , and this is not it

Jumping straight into labeling someone narcissist without having the qualifications to do so can be a dangerous path to follow. I was hoping this podcast would delve into the facts of this horrific event & trial but instead the host decides to create her own narrative ignoring the many, many, friends, family, and professionals in this case.

As a therapist, I’m appalled at this podcast. Please do not listen as this information is severely harming to cluster B diagnoses.

Turning this off during episode 3. Very presumptuous and full of assumptions. I thought this was going to be different but dang girl, you need to make sure you’re on the side of women.

This podcast host is firmly of the view Lindsay’s insanity defence is a load of rubbish, and doesn’t hide it in her recounting of the case.

If you want a more factual account of the trial, choose another podcast.

I called it quits when the authors first evidence that Lindsay has narcissistic personality disorder was that she’s a runner, has a successful career, married an engineer, and had children. This whole podcast is a string of thoughts that barely make sense, not news.
