2000 年，我曾在成功漁港錄下了一段旋律。那是阿美族漁民陳阿順大哥隨口吟唱的歌謠，歌詞裡半開玩笑地說著出海捕不到魚、回家不知如何面對老婆的無奈。那聲音裡，有討海人對大地的幽默，也有對海洋無盡的敬畏。
那時的成功，還是鏢旗魚的黃金歲月。漁民們靠著體力與眼力，在風浪中與旗魚「以命換命」。
