Dan has been an extremely vocal (no pun intended) part of the independent music scene for the past 40 years and I’ve had the pleasure of following him and his many, many, many bands for 32 of those years. Discussion on that alone would make this podcast great but there’s also lots of extremely informative and entertaining political discussion to be heard here as well. Highly recommended.
Dan has been an extremely vocal (no pun intended) part of the alternative music scene (the REAL alternative music scene) for the past 40 years and I’ve had the pleasure of following him and his many, many, many bands for 32 of those years. Been following Dan’s musical journey since my teens. His books are great, his way with communication and language is engaging. Can’t wait to see the next era of the podcast.
Solid and interesting (maybe moreso for us aging punks that grew up seeing/listening the bands/singers Dan seems to gravitate towards and interview) - I just wish Dan could cool his jets and not steamroll over the guests and let them speak without constantly being interrupted.
Fascinating conversations for those interested in or who lived through punk of a certain age.
