Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 397- Eric Dressen (pro skateboarder)
Q: How did you stay motivated during the downslope after injuries and sponsorship shifts?
I stayed focused by surrounding myself with people I admired, pulled inspiration from different sports and cultures, and used those lessons to rebuild gradually—embracing sobriety, learning new crafts, and finding ways to keep skating in a sustainable, holistic way.
Episode 396- Sam Velde (manager/musician)
Q: How did Sam get into the music industry and what were his early influences?
Sam's path started from a deep love of punk and hardcore, sparked by classic rock and punk acts, then escalated through early local scenes and DIY networks, including connections with people like Pat Dyson and Pat Dubar, which opened doors to bands like Uniform Choice and Inside Out.
Episode 387- Sam Spiegel (DJ/producer/director)
Q: How did you get into music production and start working with Jay Swift?
I moved to LA after high school, interned on various projects, met Jay Swift who showed me how to use the MPC, and that moment made me realize I could make a life as a producer and DJ.
Episode 385- Jordan NFG (singer- New Found Glory/Tattoo artist)
Q: What was it like moving from a DIY/minor label world to a major label?
There was freedom to do what they wanted with MCA, provided by their existing team, and a broader platform; there was also some skepticism from fans, but they maintained independence in spirit.
Episode 385- Jordan NFG (singer- New Found Glory/Tattoo artist)
Q: How did you come up with the band name New Found Glory?
Jordan described drawing a flag on a napkin and writing New Found Glory after seeing a song title from another band, The Get Up Kids, during their first show planning.
