  • Venezuela

David, many, many years ago I worked as a consultant for a US software vendor working with the Venezuela national oil company. You are one of the few people who pronounce the abbreviation for Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA) correctly “PE-DE-VA-SA” great job.

Though you do need to work on pronouncing Caracas.

I am a Sr Dir in cybersecurity. Really like Jim and you and the show.

For the past year or so, I’ve completely stopped listening to any podcasts or talk shows during my daily routine. Instead, I’d just put on music and walk on the beach for nearly two hours to clear my head.

That all changed when I discovered your show, Jimmy and David. The information you deliver is spot-on, practical, and delivered in a way tha... more

  • One of my favorite podcasts

A great podcast overall. No offense to David Shipley, who is excellent, but I particularly like the episodes with Jim Love. He just seems to bring a practical sensibility to the topics that is very relatable. I say that as an American listener so I probably shouldn’t be surprised that our neighbors to the north are being more reasonable than most of what I can find in the states these days. Keep up the good work.
