  • Great help!

Always good reach for the cyber practitioner.

  • 30 Minute Advertisement

There’s an add then about 5 minutes of content where the host reads headlines without really talking about the story. And then a sponsored interview that takes up most of the episode and some more adds.

No value to the listener. Just a lot of being advertised to.

  • Great Content

I like the content (and the music mixing) but the host has one of the most AI-generated-sounding voices and enunciation that I have ever heard. It’s not unpleasant, though.

  • The best podcast for the latest news,.

For the one complaining about a "brick wall of ads", there's 1 in the beginning, 1 in the middle, 1 at the end. If that's to many then consider paying for the subscription instead of complaining about a free podcast

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

W3LL runs dry.
Q: Can you walk through a real-world example of how these paths are exploited?
A real-world example involves chaining permissions in a GitHub repository to take over a CI/CD pipeline in AWS, then routing access to your AWS account and S3 to expand reach. This illustrates how initial access can escalate through misconfigurations and federated permissions across multiple platforms, highlighting the need for visibility and control over all identities and their relationships.
W3LL runs dry.
Q: What is identity attack path management and why does it matter?
Identity attack path management is the analysis and mitigation of how an attacker can move from an initial compromised identity to higher-privilege access across an organization, using multiple identities and permissions as stepping stones. It matters because, without understanding these paths, defenders can't anticipate or block cascading compromises, especially in complex hybrid environments.
Temporary fix for Section 702.
Q: How should organizations govern AI agents to operate safely at scale?
He advocates for a governance engine that can publish policies, automatically check agent actions against policies, and provide quick rollback in case of mistakes, enabling scalable and safe deployment of agents.
Temporary fix for Section 702.
Q: What is your view on AI sprawl and its impact on the industry?
The guest explains that AI sprawl has led to a proliferation of personal agents on laptops, requiring governance, monitoring, and automated policy enforcement to prevent rapid, unintended actions that could harm the company.
A heavy patch Tuesday lands.
Q: How can organizations address employee fear about AI?
By communicating a clear, contextual understanding of AI's role, showing how AI augments human work rather than replaces it, and focusing on security and governance to build trust.
