I'm choosing to republish this episode that I had with David Whyte four years ago, because I had found myself revisiting his timeless book Consolations’ and rediscovering wisdom that felt appropriate for these times — which has remained within an arm... more

As an Indian woman, I was hoping to find a diverse set of people being interviewed because a lot of breathing techniques that the host stands for are rooted in Pranayam. But I couldn’t find any meaningful evidence that the host invites anyone who has any insight into the Eastern spiritual practices who belongs to that culture. It’s a pity because I followed the host from Lenny’s podcast and I am disappointed.
Love this podcast as a resource for my own spiritual journey. The episodes are informative, actionable, and uplifting!
Interview with Kowalski was insanely interesting! So many deep thoughts and concepts there to explore. Jonny is a great moderator and doesn’t interrupt too much nor laugh over his guests’ responses like so many other podcasters do. He has keen self-awareness in this respect which makes for better listening. Great stuff
Jonny humbly tackles life’s biggest questions: by asking and living into life’s biggest questions! He explores what it means to be alive and to fully feel and embody, which is radical. He is deeply attuned to his guests as an interviewer and as a podcast host myself, I am taking notes on how I can be present like Jonny consistently is. Brilliant!
One of my very favorite podcasts—such brilliant, thoughtful conversations, filled with gems of wisdom and inspiring discussions around the beautiful questions as to how to live. I end up thinking about many of the episodes for days, and share specific episodes with friends constantly. Highly recommended!
