- Fun Show But Hosts Get Lost In Translation
I enjoy this podcast for the most part but because the hosts are not American, they miss out on the subtle and hilarious story lines that often reflect whats going on in American culture, therefore failing to discuss the genius of LD and his team of writers. It’s just terrible. I’m sorry, and I’m sure that Ivan and Stephen are probably great guys, but this podcast is just God awful. It’s like listening to two Aussie bogans having an ill informed discussion while walking the streets of Kuta in their double pluggers and Bintang singlets. Probably fun drunken banter between two mates, but irritating to others in earshot. I’m a big fan of Curb, and was excited to download and listen - but, WOW - this is cringe to the extreme. I have listened to the Seinfeld podcast for quite awhile, and now the same guys who did the Seinfeld - I don’t want to be a secondary character! podcast are now out with a Curb your Enthusiasm podcast. Enjoyable, pleasant, and pretty pretty pretty good!
