Newscasts sound like they’re broadcast through a metal pipe. It appears my previous review, amended each time a show had audio issues, was deleted. Shows with issues:
- 11pm- 17 Jan
Audio on 18 Dec episode sounds like it’s being transmitted through a metal pipe.
I love the podcast, it’s the perfect length to get the highlights and stay in the know, but the uploads are so inconsistent. Why do they sometimes go 4 days without updating??? There’s also no alternative to get Canadian news in podcast form
I really enjoy this podcast. I no longer live in Canada and this podcast does a good job at keeping me in the loop. My only complaint is the commercials are so poorly placed. Often playing them right in the middle of a sentence in the middle of a story. Producer needs to do a better job at placing those between stories. Also, they are so much louder than the rest of the podcast. Other than that keep up the good work.
CTV cancelled Rachel Gilmore fact checking segment during our 2025 election campaign because of right wing complaints. Obviously they are now very right leaning and not about truth
