  • Thank you!

    Scott and Dr. Clavio,

Thank you both so much for your coverage of this historic football team these last 2 seasons! I was at IU from ‘93-97 and really didn’t have much to cheer for. I then traveled to SFla for medical school and was introduced to ACC and SEC football. We took our first jobs in Durham where my 2 daughters were born. They are now 14 and 16 and huge Duke bball fans.

I tell you this, like many other Hoosiers my age, because I was starting to loose my IU passion. I found your pod ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

IU Men's Soccer 2026 Preview with Todd Yeagley
Q: Who should people be watching out for? Who's made some leaps in this off season?
Several returning players are highlighted as anchors and breakout performers, including Josh Mayer at center back, Nolan Kinsella at right back, and captain Alex Barger; on the attacking side, Collins Durrell and Easton Bogard are noted as key contributors, with new transfer GK Stefan and attacking players like Oliver Muller-Jansen expected to make immediate impacts. The coaches emphasize depth and versatility across midfield and defense, with young players stepping up to fill gaps left by graduates or transfers.
IU Football Fall Camp Q&A: Josh Hoover, Daley/Wyatt & Purdue AD Comments
Q: What are the signs we'll see Hoover adapt early in the season to the system?
Hoover is expected to show improved timing with receivers and better decision-making in a more simplified initial game plan, with emphasis on completion percentage over yardage as the offense keeps play-calling relatively contained.
Quick Hitter: Volleyball update with Coach Steve Aird
Q: Tell the folks about the upcoming events and how people can get involved.
The program is hosting a golf outing that brings the team and staff together with the community, with sponsorships available and opportunities to just say hi; a Friday scrimmage against Notre Dame is also open to the public, aiming to showcase new lineups and give younger players a chance to play.
Indiana Football Live from Joe's on Weed St: Roster Overview & 2026 Hoosiers Expectations
Q: What do you think it would take for the quarterback depth chart to truly win a national championship this year?
The staff needs a quarterback who can consistently execute within the system, trust the coaching, and avoid forcing plays. Hoover is viewed as a legitimate win-now option, but success will also depend on the support from a strong running game and improved defense.
Josh Hoover, Monshun Sales, Curt Cignetti’s Recruiting Leap, IU Basketball Skepticism, and World Cup Talk
Q: Will Josh Hoover be over or under eight interceptions this season?
The hosts expect Hoover to be around eight interceptions, noting his gunslinger tendencies but trusting Cignetti and the offense to coach decision-making and protect the ball, while also acknowledging that some early games may test him.
