But just as quickly as the killings began, they suddenly stopped. The killer simply vanished. No suspects. No arrests. No headlines. These men and their murderer were forgotten, overshadowed by other notorious serial killers prowling the same Bay Area r... more

I need 729 seasons of this injected into my veins. The host’s delivery is damn near perfect, along with his storytelling. His extra sidetracks where he “nerds out” are often compelling. They lead me down a google rabbit holes learning about Habitus or other pieces of human behavious. I can’t wait for more. He has a very sociological way of approaching each story that leaves bias and political agendas out of the story - unlike other popular crime podcasts.
What makes Crime Adjacent stand out is Chase Patrick’s personal stake in the story, his return to Ridgewood isn’t just investigative, it’s emotional.
The storytelling is sharp and refreshingly human Chase doesn’t sensationalize, he questions, wonders, and at time struggles with what he finds.
Crime Adjacent is an unmissable listen for anyone who loves a mystery that goes beyond the crime scene tape. It’s haunting, gripping and perhaps most unsettling of all true.
Some great twists and kept me at the edge of my seat! Highly recommend!
I’ve never heard of this story or a podcast like this. I’m hooked.
Just through episode 1. Story has me hooked, it's like watching an episode of Only Murders in the Building! Great storytelling, and character building. Can't wait to hear what happens next.
