Just came across the podcast and as a fan of folklore this is a must listen! Love how she does shorter episodes covering a variety of different lore and urban legends. I get to learn about a bunch of different creatures and deep dive more into the ones that really peak my interest. Keep up the great work!
I came across Iona Wayland on TikTok and as someone who loves all things spooky, creepy, and loves folklore, I immediately went to find her podcast. The first episode being about spider lore had me sold. I love learning about the different creepy creatures and folklore on each episode. Plus, she has a lovely voice to listen to. I’m so excited to have found her podcast!
Very fun and entertaining to listen to! Iona Wayland is a great host 😁
Things the host talks about: her cats, for 10 minutes (not joking). A glass bauble she got as a kid. Her horses and random coyotes. Her childhood fears. How funny her own anecdotes about herself are (”seriously that’s so funny/how crazy is that?/etc”). The lack of self-awareness is astounding. Things the host does not talk about: supposed eyewitness accounts, possible ... more
Really cool and unique stories! I loved it 🙂
