  • Be Frodo!

I’ve been saying this for a couple decades now. He took on a task that looked absolutely impossible and he ‘failed’ in the end when he claimed the ring for himself. It was because he persisted throughout the hopeless journey that the Ring was destroyed. His courage got the Ring to where success was possible even if he did not personally succeed in throwing it into the fires of Mt Doom.

  • Making guilt trips fun

"Air conditioning is cooling off my little enclosed space by heating up the rest of the world" is now burned into my soul with the force of 1000 Catholic-grade guilt trips. Thanks guys. I'll want the Crazy Town theme song played at my funeral if I don't make it through the heat wave of the coming week.

  • A little bit of sanity in a crazy town.

It’s hard to overstate how isolating it can be to feel like you’re sitting in an audience at a play production and everyone but you thinks it’s real. You’ve seen behind the curtain, but nobody will believe you if you tell them that it’s just a performance. The folks at crazy town podcast get it, and their show brings a little bit of sanity (and humor) to this world of make believe that we’re all spectators to (and active participants in). Thank you Asher, Rob, and Jason for sitting beside me ... more

  • Antidpressant Effect

My son, a long time listener and fan, recommended this podcast. I love it! It is saving my sanity and my sense of humor. These podcasters refreshingly embrace nuance in ways seldom experience. They impart knowledge, things I want to know about. They are funny, they make me laugh out loud. They feel my pain as we live in a society that seems mind crushing crazy. Check out the early podcasts. My son told me to and I am glad I did.
