Cosmic Crit is a weekly Actual Play podcast centered on the new Starfinder RPG from Paizo. Listen to the shenanigans as a seasoned GM, a couple of noobs, and some RPG veterans explore the galaxy and fight monsters on behalf of the Starfinder Society. It's a little roleplay, a lot of natural 20s (we hope), and plenty of fun.

Lots of fun. Should've ended in a horror movie cliffhanger like finding a red balloon tied to the captain's chair.
I love this crew! They have deep, interwoven stories, but they don't take themselves too seriously. And the action scenes are always amazing, edge-of-your-seat, and over-the-top!
Great episode, recently became aware of the podcast and have been binge listening.
He is never late or early, but arrives exactly when he means to.
That’s my excuse for only recently discovering this amazing podcast, anyway.
With enough seriousness, silliness and crit fails to keep any TTRPG lover engaged.
I do dread the day when I’m all caught up though. I don’t want to have to wait a week per episode!

The show centers on a Starfinder actual-play through serialized campaigns, balancing tactical combat with exploration, lore discovery, and character-driven humor. Episodes mix shipboard and station intrigues with heavy world-building, magical-tech artifacts, and ongoing meta-narratives about factions, alliances, and past civilizations. Production quality, collaborative storytelling, and a welcoming community vibe are recurrent strengths, with frequent discussions about character creation, system changes, and planning future arcs. The format tends to reward fans of both tactical RPG play and in-depth storytelling, while maintaining accessibility for newcomers through clear pacing and lively banter.
