This channel has powered me through times when I was out of work and I took some freelance online work. Helped me compose something for my writing gigs.
I don’t love every episode but that is to be expected. There are lots of interviews with a really broad range of people so that I think there is something for everyone. The episodes that are relevant to me always knock my socks off.
He is an excellent host, and a heck of a lot of fun to listen to. But the subject matter is rarely about copywriting. I think it was the episode about the dominatrix that sent me over the edge. They spent most of the time discussing sexuality, childhood trauma, and kink as a form of therapy.
The podcast is more of a lifestyle podcast, rather than a discussion of copywriting. I think there’s a lot of potential with the host, but in a world of so many choices, you’ve got to dial in and perfect y... more

Just listened to Episode 132 with Larry Roberts. I’ve been thinking of starting a podcast and there were so many practical tips. Everything from how and when to edit your audio, or not. How to increase traffic, including free options. Thank you Laura and Larry for sharing your experience with me. Super helpful, and entertaining, podcast!
I love this podcast! I listened to so many episodes to help me when I was writing my memoir. I found the content so helpful that I recommended this show to my agent so she could share it with her clients! As a podcast host, I also love many of these episode for helping me improve my podcast. I just listened to Ep 148 with Kelly Glover and I LOVED it. I learned soooo much!! The hardest thing is selecting which Ep I want to listen to next. I met Laura at Podcast Movement 18. She was a guest speaker on introducing mystery & intrigue into your website, copy & podcast scripting. It was brilliant and I took a ton of notes. I had a chance to connect with Laura at a mixer later on and chatter. She is very smart, for sure, but also easy to talk to. I wanted to check out her podcast to see if the same person was being recorded. This 5 star review answers that question!
They had me at IT Crowd. Laura is a great host and she has a lot of insightful advice to share, besides having an excellent taste in sitcoms!
Laura, I am a new fan and I am so looking forward to listening to ALL of your shows. The 3 episodes I've listened to so far...I ran to get a notebook because there are so many mic drop moments that I want to savor. Thank you and I'm excited to fill that notebook!
I love Laura’s easy approach to writing! I have found it so helpful as I attempt to write my own book. I am forever grateful!
