Thoughtful conversations that are both insightful and personal. The artists’ stories will stay with me, adding a richness to their work that I hadn’t seen before.
Wow. What fabulous stories! Brilliantly hosted. Congratulations Newcastle Art Gallery. Looking forward to next season.
Wonderous, insightful conversations that feel intimate and expansive all at once. This series is an excellent introduction to one of Australia’s most interesting public art collections. Thanks NAG for taking time to sit down with these artists - it’s great to hear firsthand about their motivations and experiences. It will be exciting to wander around the redeveloped gallery, listening to these interviews again while viewing works from the collection on display.
If you’ve even been envious of those lucky people who get to talk with the Artist at their openings this is the podcast for you, it feels very personal the conversation flows so naturally. Can’t wait for more!
