  • The topics are fascinating, but the delivery is so bland and overly rehearsed that it's boring to listen to; the episodes are completely devoid of personality and chemistry. Some folks want that--just the facts from voices that sound borderline like AI, but if you enjoy a personal/human element to your podcasts, I'd skip this one.

  • Usually pretty good. However, I just finished an episode where Carter posits that, well, if Christianity literally never existed, it would be a positive because the Crusades wouldn't have happened. LMAO. Attempts at historical analysis like this just will end up giving someone an aneurysm.

  • Pretty good starting point for investigations but very sanitized and mainstream. Being locked to Spotify only is also annoying.

  • This is one of the most interesting and educational podcasts that I have listened to in a while. I enjoy the fact that the facts are presented in a neutral way, allowing the listener to evaluate the facts and understand why the story was labeled a conspiracy theory. It given its title, is an educational approach to stories about situations where close clarification often enlightens the listener. In my opinion this is also a very entertaining and thoughtfully done podcasts.
