It can change the way you think, harm your ability to connect with other people, an... more

I’m so glad there are actual movements like this fighting the normalization of these forces in society. I’m an atheist, so my views aren’t informed my religion or “prudishness” or “insecurity” as men will often try to gaslight women into believing. P**n normalizes the objectification of women, which feeds male entitlement and asymmetrical power dynamics in relationships, period. Women are also lied to about p**n use, which is consent theft. We have the right to not be in relationships with men w... more
Love this podcast but there needs to be a better way to segue into advertisements. I understand the need for advertising, that’s not the issue. However they come at the most random and unexpected times and the volume of the ads is way louder than the podcast and it is always jarring. Please find a better way. Thanks.
I too , like many people on these episodes, discovered porn at way too young of an age. Decades later I am still processing what that content has done to my brain, my relationships and my sexuality. However I do believe there is hope and the first step comes with recognizing this is a problem. This podcast is a source of information and compassion for those who have been victimized and also those who have hurt but want do better moving forward. Thank you for your work, thank you for these interv... more
Such a great episode. Love the discussion around how one of the worst parts of betrayal trauma is the madness of the intrusive thoughts and how you question yourself the barrage of self doubt and thinking you’re the issue. 😥 I also love the part about coming back to your body and more full self and rediscovering what brings you joy. Bessel Van Der Kolk says “Remember to remember”, and I think that’s key. 💛
The interviewer is amazing! The questions are so well formulated. The topics are so well summed up. Thank you so much for your work and giving the space for people to share there story. Please keep it up!
