I listen to (almost) every episode. It’s so funny, I love each and every one of you. Thanks for being relatable Christians. Easton is the best and I wish he spoke more. But I also appreciate the well time snipe comments. I just read through the negative comments on the pod and all of them were straight trippin. John’s not racist, they make political jokes and hate on both sides. If you can’t take that then man up. If you can’t stand that they talk about the bible so much, grow up and find Jesus.... more

  • Love it! But there is one inaccurate take…

Peak comedy. Favorite pod. Also in “Pat pat” you claim nobody has ever been a raging alcoholic that has maintained work and personality. I present the exception, Winston Churchill. (Just for the bit, don’t drink kids 🙂‍↔️)

The discussion highlights that many accents are learned, indicating a performative element in how people present themselves in various contexts, including customer service and media.
License To Preach
Q: Is corporate culture humor like hack jokes?
Yes, it seems that corporate humor often revolves around repetitive, clichéd jokes like those heard on golf courses.
Holiday Quests
Q: How much should we drink during the family Christmas celebration?
If you're asking this question, then the answer is less; it helps to drink responsibly and be mindful of the environment.
Holiday Quests
Q: Should I start calling my mother-in-law by mom?
The answer is no; it feels strange and unnecessary to do so.
Cool Gigs For Cool Guys (w/ Ben Rector)
Q: Do you feel genre-less?
I get sad because I feel like in this era, if you don't fit pretty squarely in a slot, it's not like anything that they can do with you.
