Maybe it would help at almost 19 years old if your daughter was to get a job and gain her own self worth and structure in her life. I feel you are failing her by not encouraging her to support herself and be proud.

As a Mum of two teenage boys I cannot tell you how relatable and informative these podcasts are. A must listen to all parents to teenagers out there. Each episode is a different topic and is covered in great detail and honesty. It makes as a mum to the new world of teenage children less daunting and lonely.
