Interesting topics but with shallow wordy presentation
I listened to this podcast due to a recommendation from another tech podcast but it was obvious from the beginning that when when is very well produced it lacks the knowledge on the topic from the host. A technical podcast should be presented by someone who know the stuff. Is like a dev manager that has never been a dev trying to teach devs how to be devs…
I love the diversity of topics as well as perspectives of people in different tech roles. I appreciate the hosts’ efforts to stay on topic. I also really get the feeling the hosts enjoy discussing these topics.
Feels like a missed opportunity to me - other podcasts in this area have more of a gritty reality to them. This feels like something Dilbert’s boss would listen to.
For anyone who wants to quickly jumpstart your knowledge of earlier versions of everything, and learn to love ossified operating systems and all things Hardware and Software-related, have a listen.
I guarantee you will learn a lot and maybe even want to join the Compiler fan club, as I have. Now I never miss an episode and each time, come away knowing more: Specifically, why what came before, really matters. Thanks to the entire Red Hat team for making this great show possible.
