  • Great podcast if done by Shane and Shane 2.0

    “I really wanted to love this” says Adrian as he shows utter contempt for a show he’s seen one episode of which everyone agrees is top class comedy. Shane is great, even when his opinion seems off, he is too down to earth to be annoyed with. Adrian is too much like myself, unable to enjoy what’s good, unable to relax and admit he might have misjudged it and it’s not because of some flaw he’s convinced it has that’s easily overlooked or explained.     I listened to part of one episode and there are so many inaccuracies about Whatever Happened to The Likely Lads that I had to stop listening halfway through. Sorry.

  • Come Back, please

    It is a shame you have stopped now - I finally caught up! I've enjoyed every minute of your banter and opinions, and getting to know the people you are from the conversations you have. Personally my best memory is listening to Shane say he'd never go to big theme parks, as he won't queue for more than a few minutes for anything. I was standing in a covid-induced supermarket queue at the time, with meter-spaced customers snaking around the car park.
