I am not a bush plane pilot. Not even many hours in my private noir experience but I can’t stop listening to the stories of old pilots. Half the time am laughing so hard in jokes and in wonder of these airmen. Thank you!
If you are into aviation you’ll love it. The host asks great questions
I previously left a 5 star review but I am changing it to 1 star. Why would you give this guy a platform to discuss being a Ukrainian mercenary? The situation in Ukraine is much more nuanced than this guy makes it sound. It’s not so simple.
Please stick to flying content. I’ve met you before Daniel and you seem like a great guy and I would say this to your face. You missed it on this one big time…
I’m never more excited to see a podcast drop than this one. Please keep it up. Fabulous work.

Aviation and adventure stories from Alaska-based bush pilots and seasoned flyers, mixing high-stakes missions with practical lessons and humor. Episodes spotlight wild experiences—from glacier landings and remote rescues to aircraft modifications and mentorship—with a strong emphasis on safety, risk management, and the camaraderie of the aviation community. A standout theme is the rugged, frontier spirit: flying in extreme backcountry conditions, lifelong learning from mentors, and the intersection of technical skill with grit and storytelling that keeps listeners coming back for more inspiring, sometimes cautionary, narratives.
