  • Excellent in depth content

I generally listen to this while I’m in my car. Don’t know about most people, but this is a very difficult one for me to grasp when you’re not in a position to take note or search for references. Yet, even under these circumstances, I find the podcast a valuable addition to my cloud security interest. The closest to this in terms of content and depth is similarly named podcast from Google and I find this one better among the two.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Rise of Agentic Cloud Security: Code-to-Cloud Shrinks to 3 Days
Q: What should organizations focus on to uplift their Cloud Security program beyond 2026?
Focus on holistic visibility and identity, integration of AI agents that can handle routine tasks, and building an architecture where data and AI coexist securely, with a clear path from code to cloud to protect the whole ecosystem.
The Rise of Agentic Cloud Security: Code-to-Cloud Shrinks to 3 Days
Q: How is the threat model changing with AI, and how should boards be updated on this risk?
The threat model now demands rapid, automated response capabilities, visibility across the entire data lifecycle, and an understanding of how AI-enabled attacks can scale; boards should focus on measurable improvements in detection speed, automated remediation, and data access controls.
The Rise of Agentic Cloud Security: Code-to-Cloud Shrinks to 3 Days
Q: What gaps have you noticed with the AI-enabled security approach, compared to previous methods?
Gaps include faster attacker timelines enabled by AI, the need for AI-driven protection across the cloud rather than isolated tools, and the necessity of visibility into AI workloads, identities, and least-privilege access to prevent public exposure.
Solving Prompt Injection & Shadow AI for AI Malware
Q: What should mature organizations uplift in their security programs for 2026 given AI developments?
Security architectures will move towards integrating identity as a core pillar, tying control and data plane enforcement together, with agents, APIs, and automated playbooks guiding proactive defense and response.
Is AI Hallucinations a Myth and the Real Threat from AI
Q: How should organizations adapt if they outsource security operations or use MSSPs?
Outsourcing shifts the expectation toward higher quality, faster analysis, and more customizable, AI-assisted services. MSSPs are increasingly adopting AI to deliver 80-90% autonomous analysis, reserving human analysts for the final decisions, and some enterprises are shifting to AI SOC software for staff augmentation.
