  • Always an informative conversation about "clean tech". Lots of EV talk, and details about products that help reduce emissions. My one request: let's bring nuclear into the equation. Lots of renewables talk, and would love nuclear to weigh in.

  • It’s good, but…

This is a good podcast for EV and clean tech enthusiasts and the like. It has the potential to be a great podcast if the host could please stop interrupting his guests and just let them talk or answer the question.

The Importance of Conservative Leadership in Clean Energy
Q: Tough question for sure, because it forces folks to go against what had been conventional wisdom politically for a couple of decades. What messaging shifts have moved conservative audiences on clean energy?
Answer emphasizes reframing clean energy as national security, economic growth, and local job creation rather than strictly climate language, highlighting credible local messengers and tangible local benefits to gain support across the political spectrum.
The Importance of Conservative Leadership in Clean Energy
Q: Give me a brief background on yourselves, activism in the past, what brought you to the place where you're at, and the work that you guys are doing.
Britt shares her background with the Conservative Energy Network and its growth from a Michigan-focused effort to a national umbrella organization; Bradley explains his path from Republican politics in Michigan to leading the Land & Liberty Coalition within the CEN framework, both detailing how their work centers on grassroots engagement and policy solutions.
Common Charge and Advancing Distributed Energy
Q: What are your expectations for 2026?
2026 is an opportunity to tell the story of why distributed assets are working at scale and are the affordable option for energy investment.
Common Charge and Advancing Distributed Energy
Q: How are you navigating the political challenges against renewable energy growth?
We see this issue as non-partisan and focus on advancing policies at the state and regional level for distributed assets.
Common Charge and Advancing Distributed Energy
Q: How is this different from typical lobbying for certain policies?
Common Charge is not your traditional energy coalition; it combines both non-profit and business membership to work for public good but informed by companies' needs.
